Kortny De1: The Rising Rapper Works Non-Stop to Reach the Top

The music industry hasn’t seen anything quite like Kortny De1, and this time he’s finally ready to show the world what he’s made of. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, he and his family eventually moved out of his hometown by the time he turned six years old. Consequently, that was also the time when the rising hip-hop star developed a keen interest in music. That interest would soon blossom into a blazing passion, one that has carried him all the way to where he is today.

Kortny De1 is a musician and entrepreneur whose musical influences are steeped in multiple genres such as R&B, soul, pop, gospel, hip-hop, and rap. At the age of four, he started playing the drums and listened to all kinds of music, spanning different musical styles and genres. He eventually got a hold of a trumpet and guitar and greatly enjoyed playing those instruments as well. He was always drawn to music as a kid, and his talents would later flourish all the way to his adulthood.

Eventually, his passion for rap would conquer all the others. Naturally, he started writing songs and created his own music, born out of his sheer fascination for the craft. Currently, Kortny De1 has released multiple tracks such as “Wet Wash,” “Finesse,” “15,” “B.L.A.C.K.,” “End Game,” “War,” “Rear View,” and “Undisputed.” His art has been gaining traction online and has garnered thousands of streams on all major streaming platforms.

As he recalls his childhood days, Kortny De1 expresses that apart from music, he also had a penchant for entrepreneurship when he was a young boy. Growing up with a single mother, he would often venture into business prospects with his mother as his solitary guide. Kortny would sell anything from candy to custom CDs. He was a natural-born hustler, and he would later carry over his entrepreneurial skills to his music discovering innovative marketing techniques in the industry.

Over the years, Kortny De1 has studied the greatest artists in the modern music landscape, drawing musical inspiration from the likes of Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake. As he continues to elevate his craft, he would also start learning from the likes of Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Beyonce, Jill Scott, Justin Timberlake, Sade, Marvin Gaye, The Notorious B.I.G., Blackstreet, and R. Kelly.

His work ethic is beyond exceptional; Kortny De1 built his very own home studio and called it One Nation. Through his own studio, he started providing mixing, producing, and songwriting services to various clients. He has always been adamant about pursuing music as his career, and he will stop at nothing to reach the top.

Currently, he’s moving through the industry, making great connections with his manager, Nikki Jzo the Baddie Manager, who previously casted for Money Bagg to and Black Youngsta 123 music video. They’ve been spotted at various industry nights and working with well-known photographers in the Atlanta area as he’s building his network.

Kortny De1 is setting his sights on taking the music industry by storm. Recently, he has been creating meaningful connections with big industry names such as entertainment manager Nikki and Legacy Entertainment. He hopes to shake up the modern music landscape with his talent and his sheer technical knowledge when it comes to music production and everything in between.
