Resilience, Passion and Confidence the Key to Amber Smith’s Fitness Success
Australian fitness trainer Amber Smith hopes her programs can help women around the world learn five things: passion, personal development, creativity, resilience and trust.
The Melbourne-based trainer launched her business Amber Smith Fitness in 2019 to help women around the world establish healthy habits and lifestyles.
“I have a passion for health and fitness and want to share this with as many people as possible, no matter where they are in the world,” Amber said.
“Motivated by confidence, I want to help other women feel happy, healthy, sexy and empowered in their own bodies.
“ASF came about when I realised I wasn’t the only woman who wanted to create positive mental and physical changes in my life.
“Many women around the world often feel helpless and unsure when in the gym. ASF was built upon creating a comfortable and trusted space for women to achieve their desired fitness and lifestyle goals.”
Amber’s targeted glute workouts can be used by complete beginners or advanced gym-goers and are designed to help women do two things: grow their booty and their confidence.
In just one year since ASF launched, the number of women turning to Amber has grown to over over 68,000 on Instagram. People are using her booty programs in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Saudi Arabia and more, with the audience seeking out her workout guides on Instagram and YouTube also growing daily.
Amber Smith Fitness currently offers two eight week programs for the gym and at home, ranging between $AUD50 and $AUD79.
She also sells booty band two-packs for $AUD30.
The brand’s latest product, the new Mini Band collection, has just launched. The set of three resistance bands is perfect for home and gym training and is available now, just in time for Christmas and New Years, offering a combination of aesthetic and quality not yet seen in similar Australian products.
Amber knows just how important it is to commit to a fitness routine you love.
From the ages of three to 17, Amber trained to become a professional dancer. In her teens, she specialised in ballet and was training up to seven hours a day at the Russian Choreographic Academy boarding school in Melbourne, where she was bullied into staying thin to maintain the ballerina image. Some days she barely ate 1,000 calories
“I had low self-esteem and tried to stay thin by only eating around 500 to 1,000 calories per day. Most nights I would come home starving and exhausted and would binge eat and feel guilty. The next day, the cycle would continue,” Amber said.
One day, she realised that her mother was more invested in her dancing accomplishments than she was and grew resentful of the situation. It inspired Amber to drop out of school and quit ballet in order to chase her own passions.
To fill the fitness hole in her routine, Amber took up running on the treadmill at her local gym. It took two years but she eventually mustered up the courage to try some weights and became addicted.
Her self-confidence skyrocketed as her body and mindset transformed into a better version of itself.
“It felt so good that I decided to make it my mission to help other young women around the world learn what I learnt about food and exercise so they too could feel empowered and achieve a lean body with a juicy booty.”
